From our project findings we have made a list of Glossary (not in alphabetical order). These are published on our YouTube account and the playlists are as follows:
- St Vincent’s Sign Vocabulary
Example: ‘YES’ we have uploaded several of these used by different ex pupils for you to see the different ways of signing using Facial expressions and modification (strength of sign), lending a slightly different strength of meaning in each use.
- St Vincent’s Sign Numbers
In this playlist we have edited St Vincent’s sign numbers collected from the project and shown them here in slow motion.
- St Vincent’s Religious Signs
A collection of religious signs filmed during the project can be viewed in the YouTube playlist.
- St Vincent’s Popularly Used Signs
Popularly used signs within St Vincent’s community which do not include an English word text box due to no fixed word is applied to these signs. These signs are solely used and supported by Non manual features/mouth patterns only.
- St Vincent’s Sign Names
A collection of some sign names used by St Vincent’s community which are identifiable by the use of the Irish alphabet handshape.
